Loctax has been acquired by Tax Systems

Five years ago, Bart, Kasparas, Hans and I started Loctax with a vision to create an operating system for tax. Since then, we have built the world’s first control centre for in-house tax, powered by AI that helps monitor global tax obligations, orchestrate work between internal and external teams, and capture the data needed to unlock intelligence.

Many leading tax teams already use Loctax successfully, but there was always one dimension that was missing. We often heard questions about whether our control centre could go deeper into specific obligations, such as Pillar 2 or the tax provision process.

Shifting focus to build those dedicated solutions would mean losing sight of our true DNA — the top-layer control centre. Instead, we chose to double down on our vision and find a partner who could help us move faster by combining existing solutions from their portfolio.

That’s why we’re now partnering with Tax Systems, which offers best-in-class calculation engines that fit perfectly under the Loctax platform. From our first conversations with Bruce and his team, we knew they were the right partner to accelerate our journey.
